Fuelled by a similar passion for golf course architecture and an admiration for the classical courses of golf’s “Golden Age” Ohnysty Crough Golf Design was established as a collaborative partnership between Bryan Ohnysty and Paul Crough. Having both been individually successful in the design, shaping and project management of several renovation, restoration and new development projects throughout western Canada, Paul and Bryan combine their personal experience in golf course design, landscape architecture, turfgrass management and golf course construction to provide clients with comprehensive design services ranging from initial feasibility studies right through to project development. Ohnysty Crough strives to provide creative design solutions that reward thoughtful shot execution; accommodate all levels of skill; provide intrigue and variety; are harmonious with the environment; and above all else - are fun and exciting to play.

 

Having both been involved in countless construction or renovation projects, Paul and Bryan firmly believe that the best projects are a result of integrating the art of design with the utility of construction.  This foundation is what makes Ohnysty Crough unique.  We are more than just design sketches and detailed plans, we roll up our sleeves, jump on a machine and shape the design features ourselves. - allowing us the creative freedom and flexibility to cater to every detail as construction progresses.  This hands-on approach to golf design ultimately produces a superior product, while proving an  incredibly cost-effective solution for our clients.
